Adam Scott was born on the 16th of July 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia and spent his teenage years on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Scott is an avid surfer and a fan of Australia Rules Football, where he supports the Adelaide Crows.
Adam Scott is considered one of the greatest Australian golfers ever.
First coach was his father Phil, a former club pro.
Scott turned professional in 2000 and quickly earned his European tour card in 2001. He is well respected on tour, and had a breakthrough win at the 2004 Players Championship.
Adam Scott is known for his perfect golf swing that has often been compared to Tiger Woods.
Scott was appointed Member of the Order of Australia in 2022.
