The most important elements of a good golf practice routine are (1) practice on the areas of your game where there is the most need, (2) practice with purpose, (3) create meaningful challenges, and (4) track your performance during practice to measure improvement.
For many people practicing golf is boring and hard to commit to. If you create mini games within your practice and keep your scores within these games over time you'll find the process more enjoyable and relevant and you'll be able to see improvement in the areas most needed while.
