Mito started playing golf at an early age. His earliest golf memory is hitting balls with a plastic golf club.

After leading in the 4th round of the 2022 US PGA Championship Mito Pereira made double-bogey on the 72nd hole to finish tied for third.

Mito Pereira won the Country Club de Bogotá Championship with a total score of 263 (-20). Runner up was Ben Kohles 2 shots behind.

He won the 2021 Rex Hospital Open with a total score of 263 (-21). He defeated Stephan Jäger in a playoff.

He won the 2021 BMW Charity Pro-Am with a total score of 258 (-27). Runner up was Justin Lower 4 shots behind.

Mito tied for third at the 2022 PGA Championship.
