Brooks Koepka was born on the 3rd of May 1990 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He played high school golf at Cardinal Newman.

Brooks played his college golf at Florida State, where he was teammates with Daniel Berger. He won three events in college and was a 3-time all-American.

As an amateur he won the 2009 Rice Planters Amateur, 2011 Brickyard Collegiate, 2012 Seminole Intercollegiate and Florida Atlantic Intercollegiate.

Koepka started his professional career on the Challenge Tour in Europe in 2012. He played there until he earned his PGA tour card for the 2014-2015 season.

He represented Team USA in multiple Ryder Cups including the winning teams from 2016 and 2020.

Koepka joined LIV Golf in 2022.

His younger brother, Chase Koepka, is also a professional golfer who competes on LIV Golf.

Koepka appeared in Episode 2 of the sports documentary series Full Swing, which premiered on Netflix on February 15, 2023.
