The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S. based PGA Tour.
The majority of PGA tour players started on the Korn Ferry Tour. You can earn your PGA tour card by winning on the KFT or by finishing the season ranked in the top 25.
If you want to play professional golf and can successfully make it through “Q-school”, you’ll earn status to compete on the Korn Ferry Tour.
If you fail to earn enough points as a member of the main PGA tour, you may end up heading back to play in Korn Ferry events.
